Zathaniel was a normal average kid that had no life, no friends, and no more family left to look after him. His Grandparents, the ones that were looking after him -- because his parents had died when he was ten -- had mysteriously died in their sleep when he was just seventeen.

Zach, his family nick-name, was taking a trip to japan with his high school class, but on the way there he meets an unknown person asking him to hand over a project hes been working on the past few years in return for another. He agrees and during the trip, unbeknownst to him this new puzzle kills him.

Zach suddenly finds himself floating in a dark void, and there was a tablet with a questionnaire on it, so like a normal person, he starts choosing the things that apply most to him, and when he's done, he's consumed by darkness once again...

Reincarnated as an Orphaned Dragon! by RecursiveDescent
46 parts Ongoing
From an unfulfilled life to a powerful lizard?! Lena(now Lava), whom accepted an early death, is now fated to live the longest! After losing her mother, Lava is taken into a human orphanage and finds a new family to care for. Threatened by the pending demon invasion, the Prazia kingdom funded orphanages to squeeze every unknown talent from its citizens. Lava must now deal with those that want to use her power for their own gain. Having strength doesn't make you invincible, no matter how strong you are, those you care about will always be your weakness. Reality can be dark, and not everything will just fall into place. Join Lava on her journey from baby to benevolent dragon queen! ----- This is my first attempt at writing. Sorry for how bad the early chapters are, I didn't give enough backstory, and introduced so many things I didn't know what to do with at the time and it really backfired on me later. Once I finish this I might go back and rewrite the early chapters. It wasn't until ch.23 that I started to get better. This is realistic themed, in that I don't like nonsense like 'mc saves someone that happens to be a princess', and on that note, sometimes this might get dark, because reality is not all sunshine and rainbows like how most isekai make things just fall into place. If I introduce a moral dilemma for mc to make a decision, then mc is making a decision. There will be no hidden option, no choice to wait for plot armor to give them a morally perfect answer. Also fair warning that my writing tone is quite informal and my vocabulary isn't that varied. Cover AI generated
