Criminal Minds
Y/n Hotchner is an Agent at the BAU. Y/n is also the adopted daughter of SSA Aaron Hotchner and Hailey Hotchner. The reason she became an FBI agent was because her parents were murdered when she was only 6 and she always admired Hotchs work. She was placed in a foster home until she was adopted at the age of 12. She's been working for the BAU since she was 20 now she's 23. Her team is the best thing that happened to her. but little do they know they don't know a lot about her as they think they do. You see Y/n is in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend Tate who got her pregnant at 19 which gave Y/n a beautiful daughter and Hotch a beautiful granddaughter. Hotch doesn't even know about Tate being abusive although he's never really liked Tate. He's bipolar and he takes his anger out on her but she believes he still loves her and she's just glad he's never hit Grace (the daughters name). Shes become a quiet, shy, soft girl, that's where she got the name Softie from her friend Derek Morgan. But little dose Tate know Y/n has someone else on her mind. I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING IN THIS BOOK

"Why didn't you wait for backup?" He yelled. "I didn't want him to get away." I said, walking further into the room. "You disobeyed my direct order." He said, still yelling. "Would you have rather me let him get away?" I said, getting louder. Not quite as loud as him. "You could have been shot." He said, still yelling. He took a step closer to me. "I know." "You could have been killed." He said, softer. "I know." I said, almost a whisper. "Your insubordination could have ended in death Catherine." He yelled inches away from my face. "I know." I said, getting louder. "I don't know how you could be so careless." He said, continuing to yell. "I'm sorry." "You're sorry?" He said, yelling. He put his thumb and middle finger on the bridge of his nose. "Hotch, I-" his lips came crashing onto mine.
