"After Reid's death, she isolated herself. Hotch said she could take as long as she needed, but we never knew her isolation would lead to this." -JJ "I tried everything I could to get her out of that apartment. I guess it just wasn't enough." -Morgan "I'm busy, can we do this later?" -Hotch "I don't- I don't really wanna talk about this right now. Could I talk about how much she made me smile?" -Garcia "She was an amazing agent, and an even better friend. Sometimes I wonder if I had been a little more insistent on getting her in therapy, she'd still be alive. But Hotch told me not to think that way, so I guess I won't." -Prentiss. "Her death left a hole in the team that, no matter how many new agents we brought in, could never be filled." -Rossi

From the office window of the BAU, four seasoned agents found themselves distracted-not by a case, but by the scene unfolding just outside their building. Aaron Hotchner, JJ, Derek Morgan, and David Rossi stood side by side, silently observing as Dr. Spencer Reid-resident genius and awkward sweetheart-stood beneath the mid-morning sun talking to a woman none of them recognized. She was beautiful-striking, confident, with a radiant smile that seemed to pull Spencer in like gravity. Her skin glowed under the light, her laugh melodic, her eyes locked on Spencer like he was the only one in the world. And to their collective shock, Reid wasn't stumbling over his words or nervously adjusting his satchel. He was laughing. Openly. Warmly. He looked... happy. Just then, Penelope Garcia walked up to the pair with her usual burst of energy and color. The woman turned to her with familiarity, and the two embraced in a hug that made it very clear-this wasn't a new connection. This was someone who already belonged. When Garcia disappeared into the building, Spencer and the woman lingered. They shared a look-intimate, soft-and then a kiss. Not shy, not rushed. Just real. Moments later, Reid walked inside carrying a brown paper bag, completely unaware of the stunned expressions and raised eyebrows waiting for him upstairs. Looks like the BAU's boy genius had a secret... and it was very, very sexy
