Warriors of Dawn

Amelia Dawn Parker's life has not been perfect. Her father past away 2 years ago, after mysteriously dying causing an unknown death. Her mother then became an alcoholic and has been mentally abusing her. She is the schools outcast and is pretty much a punching bag to all her fellow peers at Ashwood High School. She has the mind set that all of the bullying at school and the mental abuse at home is because she doesn't look perfect. So she makes a decision that will break her even more.

Cornelius Stone Sawyer, other wise known as Leo because of how much he hates his name, is drawn to this town he has never heard of. Ashwood. He doesn't know why. He is just an ordinary boy. Or so he thought. His parents? He's never seen them. Or met them. One night he was left on a door step and was then sent into foster care. Moving around all over the U.S. because of the behavior he had growing up. He was 18 and moving out when he felt the tug and ended up where he is now.

When Amelia and Leo meet it's not love at first sight. Nor do they become friends. But, in order to find out why when they touch, a spark appears, they have to find out where it will bring them. To Amelia this is just an excuse to escape from reality. To Leo this is something he got stuck with and wants to get out of it but Amelia has this weird tug on him.
