When the darkness comes (Sam witwitcky)

Skylar or Skye Temple is the popular girl at school. Who hates it when people call her shallow. She loves her twin brother Matt. They live with their mum since their mother had told them their father had died in the army when they were younger.

After an argument at a local lake party, leaving her brother behind Skye starts walking home until a yellow and black comaro pulls up beside her with Sam witwicky inside. Sam lives across the street from the Temples. Skye has never really had a conversation with Sam since he seems to act shy when around her and doesn't talk so she left it be.
Taking Sam's offer for a ride home, she gets in his new car with him. But they think Skye didn't think, was the many events that would happen over the next few days after stepping into that car.

What happens after Skye Temple steps into Sam Witwickys car? Is anything ever normal anymore? Will she find out some things about her father she never imagined? Or is he actually dead? ;-)
