The Kingdom of Tempera were known as a liberal land, allowing it's people to marry for love. But in the time of war, exceptions were made.
After many years of defeated battles and suffering, their ruler, King Tempur, realized that if nothing drastic is done soon, the Chalodny Empire will conquer them. As luck would have it, the King met a man in the Port City Vattorna, a merciless War Lord from the notorious lands of Ochõdu. And they made a deal.
The King's first daughter, Princess Illyana, was the price. The War Lord would win the war for them, in the exchange for a wife, one of the princess from the royal family. Princess Illyana had vowed to protect her father's kingdom by all means possible, and accepted the deal, much to her brother Prince Primus' dismay.
The story begins the night before the wedding, when Princess Illyana and the War Lord Hideyoshi speaks for the first time with one another. Their first impressions from them and the people around them are uncovered, and we will follow their thoughts and feelings around the marriage.
Prejudice, resistance, broken promises but also growing love can be expected from this story. The journey to marriage and acceptance is not an easy one.
