Well, you might've not liked the fact that they were currently holding you hostage to figure out whether you were actually a demon or not before killing you after figuring out that you were a demon like Sanemi so wished to do so. There wasn't, much you could do in this situation. The most efficient solution you could think of to get them to leave you alone for the rest of eternity without spilling any blood was to lay low until their suspicion of you being a demon eventually died down and they allowed you to leave yourself. However... It seemed there were quite a number of Demon slayers who greatly disapproved of your stay here, or at least they were very wary of you. the most annoying one being Sanemi Shinazugawa. The reason was obvious enough. You were a demon. Which now made the biggest hassle you had to deal with, staying alive until that point.
