Coral wrights was born into a special society for those who can travel in time. Unfortunately, time doesn't behave the right way. In order to travel through time, you need to enter an Athra gate. Coral knows how to use these gates to travel to unexpected times and do missions for captain Corun.
After working for the Shield Jumpers for more than 10 years Coral realizes the truth about it. The missions she's been doing where corrupted used to kill those who threaten the shield Jumpers before they were even born.
Not only did they do this they used their powers to make others do exactly what they want or else they would kill their past self or someone important to them.
Coral now knows that she's been working for the wrong side her whole life and betrays the Shield Jumpers and runs away from them but in the prosses, she runs into a man by the name of Gabrel Him and his sister also has a grudge against the shield Jumpers and the three plan to return the shield jumpers to their formal glory.

Anyway, this is about two people. I can almost hear you rolling your eyes. Another cliché teen fiction with a bad boy and a good girl? Nope. This is about superheroes. I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. Then, after the nine months of being in the hospital, she woke up. Then she ran. Her emotions hit, and she temporarily slowed down time in order for her to make a five mile walk in under three minutes. Call it, un-super speed if you'd like. She was confused. She had no clue how that happened, but she had to find how. Now, she was extremely smart. She did research. Then she saw many reports on the news about this man called "The Streak". She thought it was... Odd. The whole concept of superheroes and super humans. It was to unreal and childish for her. She didn't like the title 'superhero'. Until one night, the masked man, whose name has been recently changed to "The Flash", showed up on one of her missions. But ever since then her life hasn't been close to the same.
