'And who are you?' Ruby asked warily.

The man stepped into the beam of light spilling from between the leaves of two tall trees. Ruby's breath caught in her throat.

He was sickeningly beautiful, with that perfect smirk curving his lips, the angle of his head casting the dim moonlight on his features and emphasizing his prominent cheekbones. Ruby couldn't help being transfixed by the very sight of him for several seconds.

'Seen me before?' he questioned softly, a hint of laughter in his voice.

Being the best was normal for her. As effortless and easy as a breeze over still water. As Diana is introduced into the world of magic, she discovers the secrets that this place holds. But some secrets are best left buried........ Her story is unfinished. Her tale untold. But then...... can a fairy tale be complete without a fairy? ********************EXCERPT************************* He stared intently at her face for a moment and his eyes widened in sudden dread. "You-y-you're one of t-them??" "One of who?" "You're a s-spy!" The fear in his face now mingled with indignation. "Don't play games with me! I k-know who you're with! I - I - I'm not scared of you!" "Look! I don't know where I am and I want to go home!" "Gurgof!!" He spat. "You have the audacity to come here after what your people did to us! To me!" His tone seethed with bitterness. "Who else did you come to target? Who else will you take from me?" "Relax, okay! I came here by mistake. Just tell me how to get home and I'll be gone." Diana put up her hands defensively, alarmed by the sudden change in the boy's demeanour. There were angry tears in his vivid green eyes and his whole body shook with emotion. "You will not go anywhere." His voice was very faint. "You will not succeed again." His hands balled into fists. "You will pay the price of their crime!" he screamed, before launching himself towards her.

Zara Romanov, the Romanian Princess-hated one thing, defeat. All her life, she had been served her desires on a golden platter. Until, her 'bodyguard', Adriano Moratti, comes strutting into her life. He began to dictate her life in the name of safety, making Zara despise the man more dangerously. ꧁꧂ "That pretty mouth of yours," Rio taunts, his tongue poking the inside of his cheek as if he was debating on finishing off his sentence. "One day, it's going to get you into a lot of trouble, Zara." The sides of my lips tip up in a feisty smirk as I register his words and lift my head up in defiance, "If you think I'm pretty, just say it." "You want it clear?" His eyes darkened and he chuckled out, blowing out a long, harsh breath. "You're pretty. Too fucking pretty for my ability to control myself." My grin begins to drop slowly and my mouth parts open at his sudden outburst of words about my appearance, "Rio..." "You're so effortlessly breathtaking." He continues, not giving me half a second to compose myself from hearing his previous words. It did something to me, a feeling I hadn't felt before. "I could watch you count infinitely, and still not get bored." I should be quite creeped out by that last sentence, but I was turned on. Exquisitely, turned on. I don't say anything, perhaps, I didn't know what I was supposed to say. I've never had a man be so blunt about my attractiveness. What were I to say? That I wanted him to continue on with his sweet words? That I wanted him to- "Is that enough clarification, princess?" Rio cuts off my train of thoughts from becoming any more improper than they already were. If my trainer were to be able to hear inside of my mind, she would have had a heart attack.

Jasper stiffens in his seat as I press the metal of the blade against his back. "Don't say a word. Come with me, right now." Of course, he doesn't listen. I had hoped a dagger to the kidney would be incentive enough, but even the threat of death doesn't graze a Devereaux ego. He turns toward me to argue, facing away from the goon that's been eyeing him across the bar. I doubt he even noticed. The man whispers something to his sketchy friend, pointing at Jasper. No time for discussion. I grab his arm and press the tip of the knife harder, just barely breaking the skin. He winces, realizing I mean business, and gets up. The idiot prince seems to finally get the memo, running alongside me until we're a safe distance away. "What the hell was that about?" his ragged breaths take the sting out of his words. I've never seen him like this before. Cheeks red, chest heaving, hunched over himself on the stump of a tree. For once, he looks like an authentic person. Of course, this is merely an illusion. Jasper Devereaux is an arrogant, entitled dirtbag, nothing more. I can't believe I just jeopardized my favorite trade spot for him. He demands to know why I pulled a knife on him instead of just telling him he was in danger. I explain to him that the reason for the dagger was glaringly obvious if you consider the way he acted when I did use it. If he was willing to argue with a blade against his skin, there is no way he'd have left that place in good hands if I hadn't forced him to. I can't help but laugh at the audacity of him to be angry with me for how I chose to save his life. "You really haven't changed." His head snaps up at this, and I see his eyes searching my face. Of course he doesn't recognize me. For me, it was super traumatic. For him, it was just another day. "What are you going on about?" "This isn't the kingdom, Jasper, these peasants aren't at your mercy." I see the blood drain from his face, and recognition clicks in his eyes.

(DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT ALL FAMILIAR WITH THE LORE OF DANDY'S WORLD, SOME OF THE THINGS IN THIS STORY ARE MY INFERENCES/WHAT I'VE HEARD!) *ART BY ME!* Shortly after Gardenview's closing, the toons within are left to fend for themselves within the abandoned facility. As the ichor spreads and infects, their new goal is to survive. A famous game-host finds this monotonous, torturing even. Fortunately for her, there's someone to help her through it. [Note]: There will be gore, blood, and other things of that nature in this story! I put a warning at the beginning of the chapters that contain it however, thank you for reading!
