Someday - A Short Story
Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. I hope you'll like it. :D This story will be rarely updated, since I'm busy with school and stuff. After a bad war, the kingdom of riverflood was trying hard to scramble to their feet. When their king Apollo had a flower parasite that injected from his right eye, the kingdom worried if their king is dying. For as the flower didn't bother him, and it is fairly friendly, it only bothered is eye sight. Still the kingdom was scared that one day the flower would end up killing him in the end. With him being the only Arkan left, what would become of the Arkan throne? Without him being married and of no son to take over his spot, what would bece of the little kingdom? To only add to their troubles, word had been going around that a prisoner of war had gotten lose. No matter what, she couldn't get away. She was captured again and brought to the Kings heed. Instead of killing her outright, he bought her life and turned her into a maid. She gets along great with all the other workers. Well almost all of them. Because she wasn't from their kingdom, most avoided talking to her. While she loved staying at the castle, she didn't like one part. Her feelings. While staying at the castle, she began to fall for the cold yet charming king Apollo. What will happen when she finds out that one night between the two, could end up changing their life's forever?
