Everyone lives in a world that they think is real, but they can never touch anyone else. Contact with the wrong person kills you. When you touch your 'soulmate' you wake up, the world you thought you knew is gone and you are surrounded by the real world that was designed to spread peace since everyone in that world has found the person they are meant to be with. The only problem is the person you were close to in the distance world could actually live thousands of miles away and people will stop at nothing to find their person again. The real world is in ashes and the buildings are broken. The person you connected with has the same face in the real world but a different name, all they know is what their person looks like. It could take a lifetime to find each other again. This story follows to friends who can't help but touch and wake up in the dystopian world, they have to find each other again at all costs.
