The deserted town

John Kellington is the mayor of the town. He puts all his money into a contaminated goo called Lysenko plasma which runs electricity in the town. Lysenko plasma was the only goo that was found in that town which made the town rich. Unexpected deaths of the men working with the Lysenko plasma made the goo illegal and unable to trade. John and the town are broke. Will John black market the illegal goo or will he take money from the town and prove the plasma isn't it and someone is behind all of this.
To put aside from that craziness John falls in love with Hanna a young teenage girl. Or will he fall back in love with his ex wife Melinda who had a troubled past which made her greedy for money, but is Melinda going back with John for the money or because she changed her troubled ways.
