Harper Danvers is a vampire. She was turned at 16, and somewhat adopted into a family of vampires.

On a day as normal as any other, Harper was out hunting a deer. When she returns, she finds her whole family dead, except one. Her brother.

With nothing but a note for a clue, Harper and her brother must go on a quest to avenge their family. They meet friends along the way, and perhaps lose one as well.

Will they find the murderer? Will they be caught? Will they find love?
