Riley
This is the end. After 5 years of writing and releasing poetry, it's time for us to end on a good note. I have been writing this collection for a few months and I'm so proud of what has come from it. I named this "Riley" because this is that Cinderella shoe, it finally fits. I have a lot of inspiration from 80's music like Cyndi Lauper, Whitney Houston, and even Cher. It's a collection of pride, love, and happiness, something that has allowed us all to come full circle. So many thank you's I want to give but I'm just going to thank everyone as a whole. Sometimes we fear truth over reality. But things get dark and heavy and we play the blame game. We end up hurting others or ourselves even. We don't think before we act or we don't say before we do.
