Eve is a dreamwalker-someone who plays the part of others (anyone other than the dreamer) in people's dreams. It's an interesting job, allows her to work alongside her friends, and even provides free food and lodging. The only problem is... she's not very good at it. Eve is far too softhearted to watch people go through chilling nightmares, and she can't seem to follow the advice of her community elder, Kimishi, to try to give up her own personality as much as possible. But somehow Eve manages to cope with all of this-until one day she makes the biggest mistake possible for a dreamwalker. Such mistake must be punished, and soon Eve finds herself stuck with the worst fate possible-to live forever in a never-ending dream. As Eve is forced to deal with the horrors of her eternal nightmare, she realizes one thing: That there is no "just a dream"... when you are the dream.
