Background: It was all normal until a siren was heard throughout the city of Millsberry, 500 miles away from Metroville. A sudden bomb had dropped onto Millsberry and the radioactive particles infected the survivors of the bomb. These zombies can move very fast and is making its away to Metroville. Can our hero's stop this invasion? Or become like the rest, the zombies....

First book sry for mistakes. Nothings been the same since the death blast. That what they started calling the "incident". Somewon pressed a button and nuclear bombs appeared in every au and went off at once leaving a toxic radioactive wasteland. This who survived mutated from radiation and those that didn't mutate lost there magic from radiation, no one can summon portals anymore. Error is one of the few who didn't mutate but his magic is basically gone. His blasters are full of radiation and will self destruct an explosion of radioactive waste (and an actual explosion) after a few seconds of being summoned. Teleporting to much will give him radioactive poisoning and he can only summon bones in his hands and even then not many. Error practiced summoning bone tools which helped him a lot when he needed better defense and weapons/tools. But we are not here to talk about what happened shortly after the death blast that's for another time. For now we are focusing on current events. This multiverse is one with a balance and error as destroyer (he hates his job but wasn't forced) but since there's no more aus being made balance does not matter. The world ended long ago, riddled with plague and zombies and destruction. But humanity survived, and humanity evolved. The Infection that helped bring the world to its knees also changed humans in ways to help them keep living in this now broken world ready to be rebuilt. Seven lineages with three strains each, and each have their own unique set of traits that help us survive. But that's not what this story is about-at least, not really. This story isn't about how a hero will rise and bring the world back to what it was Pre-Fall. This story is about me, an ordinary Remanat living life through the world day to day as a mercenary. A beginner mercenary as everyone likes to remind me. The others in my group have been calling me 'Rookie' since I joined them three months ago. I'm beginning to wonder if they actually know my name. We have been hired to help the New Reach Caravan travel across the wastelands to Philly Del Phia, and this is the perfect opportunity to show them that I'm not just a dumb Rookie. I'm actually quite good at my job. I just happen to get distracted by one certain Eight-Ball, but it's not my fault he's good-looking, and charming, and funny... Anyway, all I have to do is help my group get the caravan to Del Phia. Should be an easy enough job. Just avoid the zoms and keep clear of the Raiders, and we should be fine... Right?
