One word can change the way someone looks at you. Ellie a seventeen year old girl is going to camp for the very first time with no intentions of meeting new people. Her parents on the other hand think that maybe a summer camp could help her get some actual friends other than her books. During Ellie's first day at camp she's having some doubts about the whole idea of camp and friends. When an overly eager camp counsellor helps her find her way around. And Ellie is surprisingly happy to have her. But the camp counsellor isn't the only one that Ellie has bumped into. Actually she's bumped into three amazing guys and becomes, surprisingly friends with them throughout her time at camp. More like close friends with them. And with the help of those three boys, the camp counsellors, and campers. Ellie soon realizes that camp is so much more then a couple of cabins and screaming teens. And that it holds a much bigger purpose. Comedic moments, jealously of others, romances that blossoms, and drama that will make you sit at the edge of your seat. This story may seem like the same old chick flick but the whole point of the story is to show not everyone is who you think they are when you look at them on the outside. You really have to see what's on the inside and how it shines through. So I hope you enjoy the journey of Ellie and all her friends. And not judge a book by its cover or in this case a person by their looks. By Visorlover2687. πŸ˜‰

Yeah, if you could stop pretending to be dead that would be great. -- A satirical romance revolving around the lives of a Spa's pool lifeguard team. -- Jay has hated Rory for as long as he's known her. Rory has loved Jay since she first laid eyes on him. This has not made life at the Earth and Body spa easy for anyone on the All-Year Lifeguard team. But this year, everything's going to change. Suddenly, Rory has a backbone, one that Jay's not so sure he appreciates. No longer will she put up with Jay's grumpy, uninterested attitude. She's 100% done bending over backwards for him and being in love with him. That's all easier said and done, especially when bunking accommodations are changed and guess who Rory's new roommate is. Now Bryce, the leader of the rival lifeguard team from the spa across the lake, is showing interest in her. Something Rory isn't certain she trusts. Is his interest in her genuine, or is he only interested in using her as a pawn in the feud between him and Jay? Either way, she definitely likes how angry this all seems to be making Jay. Rory finds herself in a strange new position. Two men are seemingly vying for her attention, dark secrets from her past are threatening to resurface, and the patrons are being nothing short of obnoxious. Will this summer be the summer of changes, or the summer everything comes to an end? Accolades πŸ₯ˆ 2nd Place - Romance Category - The Katana Awards
