With technology's expansive growth, virtual reality has become a vital staple in American society in the year 20XX. This development leads to the emergence of the neet or persons not in education, employment or training. On Christmas day, a certain teenager in the small town of Holcomb locks himself in his room for three months, donning a virtual reality headset the whole time. When he wakes up, he is drenched in blood.
*Note: To my old readers, I have switched out a few parts to make the story a bit more cohesive and exciting. To new readers, I hope you like blood. More shall be shed only for you!*

Being constantly compared to ones brother can make one feel neglected. This is the case for Kai Walker. His brother was the star of the schools soccer team as well as the star of the basketball team. Everyone adored him and held him on a very high pedestal. This includes his own parents. For all of his sixteen years he has been constantly compared to his brother whether at home or at school. The most common phrase he hears is, 'Why can't you be more like your brother?' He made it through the years due to his only friend. A female childhood friend of both his and his brother, Amy Halland. But one sentence from her has sent Kai over the edge. The phrase he never thought he would hear from her. Yet it happened. Without hope he gives up, right after the sentence he decides to end his existence. He jumps from the school's roof ignoring the shouts from Amy. Yet it still didn't work. He wakes to found himself in a land unknown to him. A land full of magic, knights, and hero's. Unknowing that his current body is in hospital in a coma. Charles inserts himself into a dating simulator where the main love interest commits suicide. His main objective is to stop the main character from dying, but he continuously fails at this. He starts doing more drastic things as he resets his game save file repeatedly, but the world cannot handle all the tampering he has done. It's only a matter of time before the code itself fails to continue. TW: Suicide, dark themes, heartbreak, and general sadness. Metanote: Suicide, suicidal thoughts, and the lack of consideration for suicide (usually by people joking about it) has been detrimental in my life, and it's taken away a lot of the spirit in me. This story is not meant to glorify suicide, but rather, to show the constant pain that it can leave people with. I am not saying that those who committed suicide are somehow "evil," but I am saying that there are real-world consequences for those who are left behind. Once you see Charles's story, you will understand what I mean.Complete

[Written for 2018 Christmas] ❝He sees you when you're asleep, he knows If you're awake❞ Christmas night was always about the fun for adults. Remembering the birth of Jesus Christ for religious people and getting presents from Santa Clause for children. That's why these ten teenagers arranged a sleepover in Germanotta Mansion, owned by one of the teenager's grandmother. The sleepover takes place at the huge empty room upstairs in the corner of the third floor right after the Christmas party that left these teenagers exhausted but that didn't stop them from playing a silly game called "The Midnight Game" where The Midnight Man comes to claim the player's life if they failed to stay away from him. The Game starts right at the midnight, you're advised to move around the house until the game ends at three thirty-three in the morning that's if you win, for the ones who lose, the game might end earlier than that along with their lives. Sure, it was fun running around acting like there's a man chasing you from behind until the real Midnight Man appeared releasing hell on the mansion. The adults were having fun drinking in an after-party at a bar while their kids were slaughtered one by one by The Midnight Man. However, the midnight man was not the only thing the teenagers should be worried about. Apparently, there's been a robbery going on inside the mansion since Mrs. Germanotta most valuable jewel went missing from her granddaughter, Evelyn's neck right after the game started. The teenagers were all terrified after finding out that they were locked inside a mansion possibly with a bunch of robbers and a supernatural killer hiding in the dark corners of the huge building without their parents nor cellphone line. One thing for sure, they have to keep moving to stay alive.Complete
