After moving away suddenly, Ava has just arrived back in the outer banks to spend the summer with her best friend, Sarah Cameron. As soon as she steps foot on the island, memories of the last summer come rushing back to her. Specifically, memories of JJ, the troublemaker from The Cut with a secret heart of gold.
But the island is alive with secrets, most of which are better kept buried.
This is technically an Outer Banks fanfic, but the storyline is going to be pretty different from the show. I'm mainly just using the characters and a few events are based off of events that happen in the show.
