In a world where Ed and Al never lost their mother, their childhood friend Winry still loses her parents in the war against Ishval. Distraught she picks up some of the Elric brothers' father's alchemy research. Winry and her other friend Paninya, who was practically raised by the Rockbell's, work together to bring back her parents. Unfortunately they did not succeed and in the process Paninya loses both legs, and Winry loses her memories of all of her family.
