Quartz is a troubled child of Overheaven, dealing with abuse at home and struggling at school. His mother is deathly ill and the only known cure is on another world that he can not make it to... At least not normally. With one goal in mind and nothing to lose but his mother, he speaks to the Forbidden. Blitz is raised by a tough family which makes him think of others as weak and undeserving to live, causing him to bully younger and weaker children and eventually taking the life of one. Thinking of a way to bring the soul back to the deceased victim, he ends up speaking to the Forbidden as well.
Apprehended and persecuted to serve their sentences in Purgatory, The two must survive the harsh environment with their goals in mind and souls corrupt.
