In a world governed by magic and Predators, those who do not own manna, and therefore unable to perform magic, are destined for a life of slavery. These people are called the Soulless.
Alexander Wells was born a Soulless and orphaned at a young age. A chance encounter with a dead sorcerer and a stolen pendant grants him manna of significant power, attracting the attention of a Great Sorcerer and suddenly he is thrust into the world of magic.
Now an apprentice of the Great Sorcerer Noah Hill, Alexander learns how to cultivate his own magic and enrolls in one of Capitol's most elite magical institute as a scholar and begins to set his own nefarious plan afoot:
Taking over the magical world of Praelis, one step at a time. Revenge at its finest.
However, plans are diverted when numerous mishaps occur in the Institute - ghost stories coming to life, students vanishing and Predators running amock - and all of them seem to have one target: Alexander.
