Alissa is strong, confident, popular. Nothing can faze her. She is the girl everyone wants to be. On the outside. 

On the inside, she is broken, shattered into millions of pieces. He mother has left her alone with her younger brother and she couldn't count on her father to do anything for the family. 

She must go live with her great aunt, who abuses her constantly. No one has ever known about this, for the bruises were hidden by her clothing and the scars were out of sight, cross crossing her heart. 

No one would every know about this. No one could ever under stand. Until a cloud drifts into town, and this cloud might have her silver lining
