You were one of many children to be experimented on in a lab (or the lab). The experimenting gave you two powers, telepathy/mind control (which you can't control very well) and electricity. You can control the electricity around you and fire electricity out of your hands.
You escaped at the age of 8 you ran away and had been living in the woods for 10 years. The woods of Hawkins to be exact.
One night you hear people's voices, so, you walk to find who they belonged to. In the process tripping on a tree root and waking your head on a rock which knocked you out. Thankfully, Steve and the gang (minus Mike, Will and El) find you and took you back to the Byers house.
This story starts in season 2 and temporarily ends in season 3 (temporarily becuase this will continue in season 4)
