"Both of you need to get out of here and find someplace safe. I'll contact you again and when the time comes we need to leave and find the others". I almost didn't comprehend all she said when the attacker sent a kick to her gut and caused her collapse to the floor in a heap. She wasn't moving and was soaked in blood. I watched in fear as the man wiped blood from his lip and turned to face me. He was only a few steps away from me when Isaac stepped in front of me; blocking me. He pushed Nick and I further behind him and turned to me with a determined expression. He then shouted one last word before lunging at his opponent.
"Run!"

Run. Seems simple enough doesn't it? Well, not really, especially when there's someone chasing you.
Violet is sent on the run (quite literally) after a stranger shows up one day and tells her the truth. That her memory was erased as a child and that someone from her past is out to get her for some unknown reason only she knows. Or knew, seeing that it's hard to know what you have forgotten. When crazy supernatural people and gold dust is thrown in the mix running away gets a lot harder. Along with a new location and a new reality Violet is sent on a ride that is dangerous and difficult. Extremely dangerous and difficult. Even more so when you find out that you're not entirely normal. Especially when you find out you're not entirely normal.
