I almost didn't comprehend all she said when the attacker sent a kick to her gut and caused her collapse to the floor in a heap. She wasn't moving and was soaked in blood. I watched in fear as the man wiped blood from his lip and turned to face me. He was only a few steps away from me when Isaac stepped in front of me; blocking me. He pushed Nick and I further behind him and turned to me with a determined expression. He then shouted one last word before lunging at his opponent.
"Run!"

Run. Seems simple enough doesn't it? Well, not really, especially when there's someone chasing you.

This is a Nick Armstrong fanfic because I absolutely love him! He definitely deserved more screen time. He was by far my favorite character and I cried when he died both times. It was so sad.
