It's been almost a year since RK900 joined the DPD, and became partnered with the rude, stuck up, Detective Gavin Reed. But when RK900 discovers something about himself that changes everything, how will him and Gavin handle these changes and will things turn out for the better, or for worse?

This story takes place in the DBH timeline that includes Kara and Alice making it into Canada, Marcus choosing and winning the peaceful revolution (including the lover path with North), and Connor becoming deviant (including friendship with Hank)

This book includes shipping of Reed900. I currently haven't decided what kind of relationship Connor and Hank will have, and how much of it will be included.

I won't lie I kinda hate myself for writing this but the ideas kept flowing so here we go It would take a long time for androids to be equal to humans, but at least the first steps had been made. Connor, a prototype for a detective android who managed to go deviant and form a friendship with an old police Lieutenant who drinks just a little too much was one of those androids who liked to believe he had a hand in the outcome of the Android Revolution. The rules were when the Deviant case was solved, Connor would return to Cyberlife, but now that androids were people he could stay in the police department- and you bet your ass he did. Everything was going smoothly for about a month or so until Connor and his best partner Hank are chasing after a serial killer and Connor gets injured on the job. Will Hank be able to finish the case without his partner there every step of the way? And an even bigger question: How will the Lieutenant handle Connors replacement - the RK900? Story length: 10,003 Words - This is based after the ending where everyone lives and they essentially get equal rights for androids - This is not Hank x Connor, it's more of a father/son relationship - Trigger Warnings: Cussing, drinking, bodies and typical crimescene environments, drugs, etc. - This is kinda a lazy fanfic- AKA I really love these characters and had a scene in my head, then formed a plot around it and did my best to make it interesting lol. - I made the cover in Desygner - Characters belong to the game Detroit: Become Human and the company that made it, Quantic Dream. Also I just want say that I wrote this story and then matched the cover and it matches so well like honestly wtf

He doesn't want it to be true that he's deviant but he is. A little while into just becoming deviant, the revolution is over, he gets pulled back into the zen garden. Where he meets his replacement. He isn't scared per se, but he isn't happy about it. So why is rk900 trying so hard to be likeable? He's a gloater, a big ego and a machine. Why doesn't he know that he can't be good at everything. And why does connor love him?
