"My dear Destiny, you have been chosen to live among the humans!"
Said Madam Ellie that surprises me. I looked at her with disbelieve, Madam Ellie only smiled at me.
"Re-Really..?"
"Yes my dear, you'll be sent to earth tomorrow morning!"
"What are my duties at earth, may i ask?"
"Well, your duties are very simple. Keep the humans at the 'right track' of their lives, don't let them do anything bad!"
I nod to what Madam Ellie said, still a little bit confused at the situation.
"Oh-and in earth there are a few rules that you must obey!"
"And what is that, Madam Ellie?"
"First, don't tell anyone about your identity."
"Second, you have to be an example to the humans, so you're not allowed to make any mistakes, like lying, hurting humans, and other bad things."
"And finally, don't interact with demons, especially fall in love with them. Demons will kill you if they knew about your identity!"

► Book One of the Wings Trilogy
This is, by no means, a story for those light of heart. This is also, unfortunately, a true story.
I am a doctor with wings, one who doesn't belong here. I know, stereotypical. But it's true. Still confused? I used to be an angel. I caused the apocalypse of the planet inhabited by the very creatures I was supposed to help. It was the only way to help them, really. But that's a different story for a different day.
Now, the surviving humans have emerged from the rubble, soaking in the damage left over from my destructive actions. What are they supposed to do about that? I have been cast upon earth, given the task of taking care of them and healing them. I suppose I have to clean up after myself. I doubt, however, that I have any chance of returning home to Elvirund. Or, as the humans call it, Heaven.
You see, all of them are wounded.
And the Elders are coming after me.
