This book is finished, but it sucks (*cringe*, I didn't know what I was doing when I started writing it), and it will be majorly edited as soon as I get the time. After being discharged from the Special Forces after an Op went wrong, Elizabeth returned home to the States. Suffering from severe PTSD, not only from the things she'd witnessed during her tours overseas but what she did and went through. Her return quickly led her down a road of drugs and addiction trying to cope with her survivors guilt. With the help of her older sister and brother in law, she manages to get on her feet again, kick her addiction, and after 2 long years finally graduated from the Fire Academy in New York City, finished her candidacy, and got offered a job in Chicago at the busiest and most elite firehouse in Chicago, Firehouse 51 as one of the youngest members to make Squad and as a female firefighter.
