Hell or High Water {Obey Me! || Shall We Date}

EXCERPT FROM PROLOGUE ('cause I'm lazy) || Will likely be subject to change:

Five in total. Five insanely attractive boys were standing in front of me, two of which were laughing so hard I was afraid their backs would give out, another was biting disconcertedly at a fully-packed sandwich, and the remaining two just stared (although one out of them did seem to be trying very hard to keep themselves from laughing as well).

"WHAT THE HELL?!"

Oh. The victim finally reacted. Too bad I wasn't paying nearly enough attention to notice. I was too busy blankly staring at the hot boys to concern myself with the guy's well-being anymore. Guilt be damned. A pretty face is way more pressing.
"This is a money-maker, you know! If ya think you're gettin' away with-"

"Mammon." the dark-haired one out of the five muttered the name very lowly. A command that needed no further elaboration.

I turned to see the other guy's reaction and, again, was met with the appearance of godly beauty.

What the fuck.

A/N: This story does not exactly follow the original plot of the Obey Me! story. It will be similar, but I will change some aspects of it to appeal to both myself and the readers who may be interested in reading a fresh story. THERE IS NO SELF-INSERT, EITHER. I despise the whole (y/n) thing (just my opinion, though).

A/N #2: The ML is still undecided. You guys'll have to vote for whoever you want to see paired with this novel's MC. I can't really decide which one I like best (That's a lie. Mammon is best boy, but I'm nice, so I'll let you guys decide).
