Ryder is not a normal being. Even in a world where dragons rule the skies and supernatural beings prowl the streets, he stands out as a one of a kind. Sometimes that's perfectly fine, but there are days where he just has had enough, when he wants to be NORMAL for once. For Ryder hides a secret...a dark and twisted secret only he holds the key to; a secret that could endanger everyone he loves-even himself.
But then, Cameo comes into his life. Not only is she one of the few who will accept him as a friend, she also is of royalty-princess of the realm, daughter of the king and queen. As Ryder becomes more aquainted with Cameo and her friends, he swears to protect them, no matter the cost. But as dangers lurk in the shadows and a new threat hangd over the realm, he discovers his task may be harder than it seems..especially with the monster inside him, struggling to come out...
