Of Poisons, Pirates and... the Chinese? on hold

Meet Henry, a simple English coastguard of the nineteenth century. His life was never dull, but when his son becomes suddenly ill with the same sickness that took his wife four months earlier, he begins to consider that maybe there is more to the ailment than a poor immune system. When he and a new found friend wonder too much though, they get drug into a twisted web of smugglers, pirates, slave holders, and politicians.
