3RD PLACE FANTASY WINNER OF STARDAZZLEAWARDS 2020!
Zeus, Thor, Eve Hall... All were extraordinary individuals who were able to control lightning. But it's not as simple as the movies make it seem...
Eve Hall had never been normal. She had been born with blue hair and the powers to control lightning with her feelings. Electros had hidden their powers away from the world for years, and Eve had never met someone like her-someone with powers.
When Eve discovers that there was an organization that wanted to conduct experiments on Electros like her, she must ask herself who she is and who she wants to become.
Read through Eve's struggles, and know that not all heroes were meant for the greater good.

After a careless scientific accident with new elements, people with supernatural abilities began to surface. Society adjusted, and social norms changed. Heroes and villians surfaced, making the world more complicated. Fast-forward one hundred years. Neera Sanchez fights for her survival as a supervillain. She does what she can to survive, inadvertently making her a target for the heroes. Behind her mask, she struggles in personal battles, alone. When her abusive boyfriend and her own fight against depression overtake her, she's introduced to the world of superheroes. Vincent Ciobanu is a new hero at a local base. He introduces himself to the ex-villain and takes Neera's focus away from the pain and suffering she had been used. Neera grows as she gets used to her new life. Times change and things shift for the worse as Neera's ex, Koen James, comes back into her life stronger as a supervillain, threatening the peace of the world and the freedom Neera discovered. ⚡️⚡️⚡️ Neera's eyes closed and her chest rose as she breathed deeply, trying her hardest to focus her power on the heroes nearing her. She opened her eyes, watching intently as the heroes slowly crowded on the rooftop around her. The moon illuminated their serious masked faces and flashy suits, giving Neera the opportunity to figure out what powers they might possess. She kept her eyes halfway closed and studied them. Most of the suits were at least 75% black. One hero stuck out in her blue suit. It had no black on it. Neera was wary of the color of her suit. /How did I end up here?/ One of the heroes had surprised her with a lucky hit almost a minute ago. She had felt the impact and acted on it, diving to the ground. She had a better fighting chance against the six when they were caught off guard. And if one of them had the ability to purify water, it would all go down hill. ⚡️⚡️⚡️ Romance; mental-health awareness; superheroes; abuse

What makes a superhero? Is it the power? The fearless, possibly reckless bravery? The cool suit? The mask? Or is it just the person? Shimmer has been a superhero for as long as she can remember--she knows nothing else. She has a suit, is both fearlessly and recklessly brave, and knows how to throw a pretty good punch. More than anything, she has power. As a matter of fact, she has more power than she knows what to do with. Enough power that hardly anyone questions why she doesn't bother to wear a mask; after all, who would be foolish enough to antagonize someone who could level a city? Widely regarded as the best hero in the world, Shimmer's white suit and wild red hair are known around the globe. All of that fear and respect don't exactly leave much room for friendship, but, in Shimmer's mind, that's just as well. She's completely devoted to her work, and she works alone. With so much power, she's never needed anyone's help. Until now.
