"It should hurt worse than this. I know it should. But when he died, the fear, the pain, the love, the irreplacable you, was gone, and so was my life as I knew it."

Cree experienced something no one should ever have to go through. After witnessing first-hand the death of his abusive boyfriend Max, he no longer knows the direction life will take him in. Left to his devices, he becomes stir-crazy, delving deeper and deeper into the heart of the case, uncovering secrets about his loved one he never knew before. A journal, a key, and a police officer's phone number. Cree never realized there was more to meet to the eye with Max.

Caspian is a man of many names. Mainly because he's an undercover detective who's been on the job for over 10 years. He suddenly gets a call from an unknown number one evening and picks up his phone, not realizing that this phone call would change the course of his life. The one he made a promise to all those years ago is dead, and now he has to pick up the pieces before anyone else figures out what really happened.

"Maybe it was fate that brought you two together, or maybe it was just a gift from me to you."

Asher Adair is the love of my life. That's right, he still is. He always will be. But because I told a lie that I didn't realize was a lie at the time, he can't even look at me. I don't blame him. I haven't righted my lie. I didn't know how. The story goes: I cheated on him. But I didn't. I only thought I did. I didn't remember that night. I remembered waking up with no recollection-next to someone I didn't recognize, and without any clothes. I rushed to tell Asher, to apologize, and tell him that I didn't remember, but he rightfully ended our relationship. But it doesn't stop there. As I went to drag myself to talk to my brothers, I received an email. That email started it all. A video of my assault was used against me as blackmail to get things from me. Now, he's been arrested. I'm trying to heal from my demons. But I have to wonder if telling Asher the truth would be worth it. I'm damaged. It's been too long. I can't go back and change that day. I can't go back and tell myself to run back to Asher with the truth. I only have now. And when he finds out, he starts making it impossible to stay away. Because he helps me remember who I used to be, and who I still can be. ASHER ADAIR: Eight years ago, on the morning I find out that my company has garnered interest because of a very popular YouTuber promoted my game-the love of my life told me he cheated on me. We had a future. A plan. And it all went down the drain. I never understood what I did wrong to the point I didn't even want to know. I was happy to be on my own. Or, so I thought. Then my entire world comes crashing down. Everything I thought was true, suddenly wasn't anymore.

"Give me a reason then." The boy demanded, eyes fuelled by a rage that was not unknown to him. "What?" Emmett questioned. "Give me a reason, tell me a lie, that contradicts to what you feel for me and I swear to you, I'd leave you alone." "I don't feel anything for you." Emmett easily lied, ignoring the ache in his heart at his words. "Not good enough." Emmett lashed out, shaking with agony as he had never known as his voice quivered pathetically, "I look at you and I see my world-shattering into these despicable shards of audaciousness that reflect my only desires, otherwise deemed unworthy by the universe. This is what I truly feel for you." "Is that what you really feel for me, darlin'?" "Yes and don't call me that, my name is-" "I don't care what your name is, just answer me." The boy vehemently interrupted, fiercely questioning him again. - Can a broken boy find love in an ostracised world where gender roles and even sexual desire is shaped to suit the society? Love you all!!💜💜 Small disclaimer: I wrote this when I was 13/14. This is messy and needs a heavy rewrite! (Don't know if that will ever happen tho) You have been warned🤗😂💜 [added 2024]

Growing up in chaos isn't simple for all. Not many could cope. They would struggle and kick, but ultimately drown. However, for Dakota, that was his normality. Torturing. Maiming. Killing. That was his life, the life of a hunter. The Arizona line was elusive, written fame in the lore of hunters, and infamy for their prey. They were the best. No one could ever compare to their skills, their abilities, their ruthlessness. But Dakota was something else. His siblings might have learnt to enjoy the hunt, well most of them anyway, but Dakota didn't. There was always something missing for him, something he was waiting on. Silent and everlasting hope. A promise had been made to him, the day his twin brother was stolen, taken by the enemy, plucked right from the very home the Arizonas had grown up in. A promise of something better, something that he might actually want in his life. Now, almost sixteen years later, something was coming. A change was begging to be found. Maybe it would be for the best. Maybe Dakota would finally find that certain something that had been missing his whole life, something to fill the dark and fractured abyss that ached and wailed within. But nothing was ever that simple. Because, of course, the promise that had been made to Dakota would never be anything plausible for him, anything tangible to have and to hold. He had been promised a new life, by the greatest enemy of them all. It wouldn't be easy. Not with his family still clinging to his heels, the teachings of blood and violence burnt into his mind. No, leaving them behind wouldn't ever be easy. Then again, staying with them would only bring his inevitable death. Why not take the chance to die happy? After all, out of the ashes, a phoenix will rise...
