When Maggie's childhood friend reappears after his sudden disappearance, he comes with a proposition. He needs Maggie's... unorthodox... skillset to save the human race from eternal pain and destruction. Deciding she doesn't have much to lose besides her perfect GPA and hopes of getting out of her hometown, Maggie agrees to help.
All is fine and dandy until about five minutes later when she gets a very rude awakening, she is not fighting humans, Hell, she isn't even fighting WITH humans. 
And suddenly she is hoping and praying to all the Norse gods she knew that her weird, dooms-day-prepper dad had prepared her for this when he taught her how pick locks before the first day of kindergarten.
