Welcome to the SGS Nexus, the first Solar Grid Ship to fly more than a light-year away from Earth. The mission of the Global Aerospace Alliance is to get a crew of 76 brave individuals to K1Y0R4 (better known as Kiyora) in hopes of finding a new planet to take on the burden of Earth's overpopulation and depletion of resources.
Aria Jones was just your average high school senior who had finally started dating her long time crush Thu Nguyen. She was looking forward to being in the graduating class of 2079 and getting the hell out of her drug den of a house, taking her little brother with her. All of that changed when her mother and the Sugar Rush dealer she was dating ended up in prison. With Aria and her younger brother Adam going into witness protection, she lost the life she was finally starting.
Now 20 years later as Autumn Wynn, her "son" Jack, talks her into a 10 year voyage to Kiyora. What she doesn't know is that Jack has a surprise up his sleeve, hoping to pay her back for raising him and never having a real life outside of doing what she thought was best for him. How long will it take for Autumn to realize that her "son's" friend from the Nexus Program, and one of the lead engineers on the Nexus, is her long lost boyfriend? Will he recognize her? What other surprises will come to them and the crew of the SGS Nexus?

The Pioneer is a Generational Ship, meant to survive in flight for so long. The Patriot is not. The crew will have to be cryogenically-frozen within the ship, asleep in flight for three centuries. As soon as Genevieve opens her eyes after centuries of being asleep, everything goes wrong. The crew remains asleep. The ship doesn't have enough power to sustain them. Her mind is turning against her with the side-effects of the cryogenic-freezing sleep. Lastly, there are enemies lurking just outside the hull of her ship. Genevieve is losing track of what is happening, but what she knows for sure is that none of it is what she signed up for.
