An abandoned school lays deep within a country, with it's gates forever locked and it's secrets kept buried with it. However, a nearby academy is built up near this eerie establishment with a dire rule to all it's students.
"Never step foot into the building near Olive branch academy." The principal said with a tone so still it caused all the students at the academy to stiffen greatly.
"Why... What is over there?" The raven haired girl asked to no one in particular, her voice barely a whisper shook at the sound of a person's mumbling behind her.
"You don't need to know. Some things are just left to not be discovered."
"....But I want to know..." She muttered as her gaze lingered to the far off eerie building in the distance, "It's like... It's calling out for me..."

In the 1930s, in a highschool called Ashford Academy. A journalist by the name Esther Charlene shares her experiences at the school. Esther was an interesting one. She always hated school, until sudden mysterious death's happened in the school. She never made a lot of friends, since she wasn't a fan of the friendship thing. Later on she befriends a girl named Heather Marlene. As Esther's friendship grows, what will it grow to? What is Heather Marlene to Esther? To continue, There was a girl whose nose never stopped bleeding. Rumors always filled the school, like a virus. Nobody knows who the girl really is. Esther calls her ' sakodo' but she was given the name slit-faced girl by the people who saw her. But those people that feared or saw her died the next day. Why do people die the same? How do people die? Most importantly, what killed them? One day the girl suddenly disappears. Nobody knows where. A few days after she disappeared, all that was left of her was forgotten. Nobody knew who she was. All traces of her were gone. What really happened to that girl? What was her name? Where did she disappear to? What was the girl's backstory? As the story unfolds. The truths are exposed. Nobody knows. Not even you. (Some chapters may be short so I apologize! An Academy/ Ghost Bird Fanfic. Inspired by the characters and story by C.L. Stone. This story contains characters that are similar to the Ghost Bird ones , but not quite the same. The world looks like ours to the general public, but hidden in the shadows are horrifying creatures and the extraordinary humans who hunt them. Selene does not look anything like her parents and her eyes are uncanny- leaving her parents unsettled. Especially since they never wanted a child anyway. As she grows, she asks about things no one else can see or feel - which only makes things worse. The world is much too dangerous for Selene- no one will understand and will only try to hurt her. She is hidden away in her parents' large and lonely house- for her own good of course. Her life changes forever though one late afternoon when she finds that her wooded backyard is no longer the sanctuary she has always counted on. She learns that the world is a terrifying place, but not for the reasons her mother has always given her.- But more importantly, 5 young men will show her that she truly is a treasure - one that they have been desperately searching for.
