Being a pawn means not being in charge, means following the rules and obeying the moves of the 'player'. That was the ISAA. They were the 'players' in this injustice game of chess. With her job already on the line, Amber must work under the radar to track down a figure from her past and compete to steal the funding of inhumane research from an experienced gambler. However, when attacks grow personal, the agents must decide whether morality or success is more important in eliminating their enemies, especially when their identity is blanketed in shadow.
