Mirage (16 years old) lives in a world where there are three eye colours, Blue, Green and Brown. And what Class you're in, depends on your eye colour. The Blue-eye-class is the Upper-class, the Green-eye-class is the Middle-class and the Brown-eye-class is the Lower-class. Mirage is a brown eye, so her and her family have always been treated like trash. She hates blue eyes with all her might, that is until she befriends one. 
Athena (also 16) is a blue eye, her family is rich and very very well known. Her father is Mayor and her mother is a well-known designer. She is popular, rich, smart, and unlike what people think, she can be a rebel, she's sarcastic, cunning and witty. 
While Mirage is untrustful, loyal, smart (but she hides it), tough, she hates life and she hates blue-class.
