There's a library inside and elegant castle where I found a dusty rectangular object. It is a treasure chest that has very wonderful things contained. Yet, when I open it, a different world reveals itself to me and takes me to various rides. It is indeed, the wonderful heart of a writer.

Hello there! Welcome to my world.

This book is for all of my collections of short stories and one shot stories. Also, some of these will be my entry for a particular contest.

Just to remind you, albeit I don't really have to, anything that you may read in this book of collection is purely fictional. Some might resemble with some story outside the fictional world, but that's merely coincidental.

Moreover, the cover I used in here isn't completely mine. It's just some random image from the internet with some edits added. This is for temporary use though and might be changed.

"And then I saw you on the screen the first day I searched. I don't think it was a coincidence that I searched at random and found you. I think it was fate, Claire." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When Claire follows a dangerous dare to break into the 'abandoned lighthouse', she finds that it's not so abandoned, after all. It turns out that the owner, teenage Francis, is trapped in the lighthouse by a strong magic, and though he has everything he could ever want, he's lonely. Claire, now trapped inside, as well, starts to develop feelings for the lighthouse keeper... PLEASE NOTE: I wrote this story when I was twelve, and it hasn't been edited. Most nights, I wake up with the echo of a heartbeat in my ears-never mine, always someone else's. Louder. Closer. My aunt says it's just the wind. The others in the village say it's something worse. We don't talk about dreams here. We till the earth, we bake our bread, and we keep our heads down. Dreamers don't last long in places like this. And girls like me-girls who see more than they should, who hear what no one else can-they don't get happy endings. They get whispers. Looks. Doors shut a little too hard. So I've learned to pretend. I smile when I'm supposed to, nod when I'm spoken to. I hide my journal beneath the loose floorboard, the one that creaks only if you step just wrong. No one knows what I write there. No one knows that sometimes, in the quiet, I can feel the weight of a thousand hearts pressing against mine. Longing. Ache. Something else I can't name. Until last night, I thought I was still pretending. Then the cat came. She didn't knock, didn't ask. Just sat on the windowsill like she owned the moonlight and said- "You're late, Inimar. The hearts are dying."
