A fate of the ones who weren't wanted or were forgotten. 

The woman however, did want to keep her child. 
Hidden. 

She never wanted her child to be found by a certain man who would stop at nothing to steal her body, which could not be harmed in the sun. 

She took off her cloak in one swift motion, wrapping the child, tears of red falling from her face in sorrow. 

"I'm sorry, my child. In my next life, I hope to be a better mother to you."
The woman smiled as her body turned to ash, the sun scorching away any remains of her.
