Each human has a soulmate- the one they promise their lives to. It is all calculated by a simple string, which connects to your soulmate. However, humans have evolved over time, as most species do. The present-day method of telling if you found your soulmate is all compacted into a simple mark on your wrist. As expected, not all humans are the same. 95% of the world are Binded- meaning they have a soulmate. The other 5% is Severed- they still have a soulmate, but they can't tell. It's complicated, but one thing is for sure, it is NOT easy to be Severed. Sabrina Eisenhower deals with it everyday, being pitied for having a "cut" string. One thing is to be known- the Severed HATE being pitied. But underneath the tough surface lies a broken heart- one filled with so much pain. But there is only much pain as to one can handle. Is it possible to really move on, especially after moving to a small town in the middle of nowhere?
