15-year-old Jamie Wilson lives a tough life in the small town of Santa Coeuro. He has no friends, gets bad grades, and is frequently bullied. He is seemingly at the end of his line, but a girl in his math class has taken interest in him. Their friendship, although he wishes it was more, saves his life and everything is looking up. Things are going great until... he gets caught preforming an unsavory act. Jamie, while attempting to kill himself, succeeds, and is sent to the "waiting room" while his earthly deeds are evaluated. Wacky hijinks ensue.
