All Marley seems to do now a days are work at the local cafe, work on her homework, or stay in her small little apartment with her black lab Duke. Marley is the type of girl who is an introvert and doesn't really like to socialize unless she has to. She only has one friend if you count Sara her co-worker, and has a past to which she truly hides until it starts to haunt her. 

Then there's Bradley, a rowdy guy who's enlisted in the Army. It's been three years since he was sent home, and when his Army buddy Spencer offered him to crash at his place for the time being, a rushed out 'Yes' was out of his mouth before his friend  could finish talking. Bradley a tattoo covered guy, who loves adventures and having fun has yet to fill his empty heart that was broken years ago.

When these two meet it was meant to be. But will Marley be able to let Brad come close to fix his heart or will her past come back to ruin everything before it can get anywhere?
