To Bear False Witness [AU]

When faced with life's brutal tricks, some people choose to either accept them or to run away from them. She ran, but even if your past is an enigma, it can still catch up to you.

The ninth commandment says, "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor,"
(Exodus 20:16).

However, with an equally fraudulent mother, Nevaeh Verity was born into being a delinquent. Much like a dame is born into nobility or an heir to inherit their rightful share.

With a new identity, she has been working in a deadbeat printing shop for the past two years. But like any other liar of her caliber, she has a darker past than one would assume. Having had an epiphany after an incident, she ended up in Chaesan, an insignificant town in South Korea where she now leads "the simple life" as a runaway.

Nevaeh's past comes back to haunt her, although initially reluctant, she gives in to her old deceitful ways.

It isn't every day you get to ruin someone's life again. One thing leads to another and Nevaeh finds herself intertwined in a web of deceit directed to malign Kim Taehyung, a pleasant but naïve member of a popular Korean idol group.
