James E. Blackburn, a kid who grew up being told to be who they want. The moment they tell everyone that they don't want to go by the name Juniper, all shit is lost. He was allowed to grow up playing in the mud and wearing shorts, but the moment he says he wants to go by they/he, he gets yelled at. Forced into a dress and told to stay quiet. He felt trapped. He was unloved by many and now just seems so stuck without the one he loves. He lied to her for so long.
Vera Nicole Walter, a kid who grew up playing sports and loving life. She loved life even when it was taken from her. She seemed to help James love himself a little more, but James never told her that he wanted to be James. She was so loved by everyone, but not as much as James loved her. She never knew the truth about her boyfriend. That the girls he loved was a guy.
Damien Gray, he seemed to always help when he was younger. He is seen as a lady's man and is always willing to help. He is president of a selflessness club. The death of Vera hit hard not only to him but to many others. Most were fine in about a month, but one of his club members still seemed shaken up. He made a silent oath to himself to do whatever it took to help. He was going to make them happy again no matter what it took.

Everything is cringy and bad about this story, but I decided to complete this book since I got a lot of comments disappointed it was never finished.
