Long ago a group of superheroes and villains worked together to prevent an invasion. But they managed to kill more people than they saved. Their destruction caused the perception of those with powers to dramatically shift; to the point of outcast. 50 years later crime has increased to the point where not even the police respond to calls. Few heroes went into hiding to 'play normal'; like my family and I. I live in New Haven City. I've been lucky enough that I don't have powers that attract too much attention --- Everything was going great. Everything was normal. Until Jamie was forced to confront the reality of her situation. The mayor who has been running the NSA was beginning to take drastic measures. Sending many supers off to another island. Stealing their powers. Forcing others to betray their own kind. The victims of these horrific acts are not taking that lightly. Why not make a team of heroes? A team that doesnt give a shit what the NSA or the Mayor has to say. Lexi's life has never been normal. Considering both her parents were secret agents, she has been on top secret missions basically all of her life. When she was sixteen, both of her parents were killed while on a mission. She has a goal to complete that mission for them. She knows it's very dangerous, but she just has to. When she ends up at the same hotel the famous duo Jack and Jack (unknown to her) are at, they are in the wrong place at the wrong time and get caught in the middle of the chaos. Lexi has to find a way to complete the hardest, most emotional mission of her life whilst keeping the boys out of harm's way. Young love is cruel.
