I'm writing out of frustration. This is about how I feel about our world as it is. I'm not a student of politics, economics or ethics. I'm one of the lab-rats in an experiment that's gone horribly wrong. I'm writing this because I've had it with voting for the sake of voting. I've had it with a culture that celebrates fame for the sake of fame, and the pursuit of wealth over value. I've had it with voodoo economics and the corrupt and crumbling financial system. I've had it with the rise of the moronic masses, who continue to press their faces against the glass palaces of consumerism, whilst ignoring the starving and suffering in the name of democracy. And don't think I'm letting the extremists off the hook, either. Whether it's religious, moral or philosophical, extremism is where I fear we're headed. It's wrong, nobody's fixing it, and I fear that it's getting to the point where a systematic and seismic shock will be the only way to create a sustainable society.

If my ranting makes you think, I'll consider that a positive outcome.
