Damian Al Ghul has been sent on a mission by his mother, Talia Al Ghul in order to prove his worth to her and his grandfather as a suitable heir to their family. Damian has been raised as an assassin but quickly realizes he doesn't want to become a killer. Whilst on his mission, he runs away and boards any transport he can find. He soon discovers he's stranded in Gotham City with nowhere to go, unaware he's caught the eye of Gotham's most fierce protector. *note*: this fanfiction doesn't follow everything canonically. Time skip ten years in the future and Raven is a member of the teen titans, ward of Clark Kent/ superman while Damian is the world's most effective and dangerous assassin. When the two meet will Raven remember her promise to bring back the boy who lost too much? Will Damian let her in? Or is Damian too far gone?
