Two weeks after the school festival, a new student transfers to our school. Unsure what his quirk is, all of us are given a chance to have a practice battle with him.
What we later find out is almost unbelievable.
But we become friends. And stay that way for a long time.
Until a practice battle with Class 1-B goes out of control.

There is a storm coming, and the future of the entire hero society lays in the balance. After returning to UA, Izuku and Ochako struggle to find their way back to one another. Some distance has grown between the two close friends, for a number of reasons. Japan is still in chaos though. Will they reconnect in time so that they can face the upcoming challenge together? This will likely a short story but I think I will aim to get more detailed in descriptions of things. They say Ignorance is blissful but that isn't always true for those that have to deal with the issues that others are ignorant of. The others are ignorant of how impactful their words can be, that doesn't mean the other side of the story isn't unaffected though. UA was meant to be better. They were meant to be less ignorant of the world's problems since they are aiming to be heroes! So why does it hurt so much? The past always catches up to you even when you don't want it to. This is an AU where the League of Villains don't exist, so Class 1A has a normal school year and they aren't going to a special training camp because they don't have to keep defending themselves from villains, so they aren't rushing to get their licenses. Also, they moved into dorms on the first day of school, not during summer vacation. A quirk hits Bakugo during lunch and his feelings for Kirishima are brought to light (only to Bakugo), but when Kirishima messes up, can their friendship be revived? Will they ever be together? Can Kirishima ever make it up to Bakugo?
