Creatures of the night such as vampires, were-wolves and all exist here coupled with mage craft, dimensional travelling even demons and gods.  Dickson faces off against a criminal with an horde of the supernatural at his disposal, but he nearly lost his life.   He came upon a realization that he is an incarnation of the first alpha-human (the greatest supernatural being ever made by the Gods).
He learns of a ploy that will destroy his entire world.  With his new-found friends, Dick struggles against the impending doom that will befall his city.
